
Online Terms of Use
1. General
All orders that are accepted and goods supplied are subject to the following express terms and conditions of Box. Registered office is at Unit 10 Woodford Trading Estate, Southend Road, Woodford Green, Essex, IG8 8HF registered in England & Wales No. 07267226. These terms may change without you being given notice about future sales.
2. Description and price
2.1 The description and prices of the goods you order will be clearly shown when you place your order. The goods are subject to availability and price changes. If the goods you have ordered are unavailable or have encountered a price change, we will inform you as soon as possible and allow you to decide whether to proceed or cancel the order. If you cancel and payment has been made, we will fully refund you.
2.2 Goods are not supplied on a trial basis. Customers are responsible for verifying the suitability and compatibility of equipment and applications before purchasing them.
3. Delivery and shortages
3.1 Goods purchased by credit/debit card (PayPal) can only be delivered to the cardholder's registered statement address.
3.2 If the agreed delivery date changes, the Buyer has the right to cancel the order and receive a full refund of the amount paid.
3.3 If the delivery has been attempted on the agreed date but the Buyer is not available to take delivery of the goods, then an additional delivery charge may be applicable if the delivery is to be rescheduled.
3.4 Delivery dates and times are given in good faith but shall not account for any contractual obligation to deliver at the times stated. Box will not be liable for any loss or damage you suffered through reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery.
3.5 Upon delivery of the goods, the customer should examine them and sign the delivery note. If there is a shortage of goods received, details should be written on the delivery note. Furthermore, for any goods received damaged or otherwise in a state of physical impairment, we must be contacted immediately or within 3 days of such delivery. We will not accept any liability for damaged goods thereafter, as couriers will not authorise such requests after the 3 days.
3.6 If you have not received delivery within the specified timeframe, please email us at customerservice@box.co.uk.
3.7 If you do not contact us within 10 days of placing the order, it may be too late for us to help you, as couriers only allow 7 days for delivery disputes.
3.8. During the Christmas period, customers are advised to place orders by 21st December 2025 for guaranteed Christmas delivery. We will dispatch all qualifying orders on time; however, courier networks may experience seasonal delays which are beyond our control.
4. Distant selling regulations 2000
4.1 All cancellations must be confirmed in writing, fax, or by email customerservice@box.co.uk.
4.2 The Buyer may cancel the order from the date of order to the day before the day of dispatch without any charges, and the Company will refund the Buyer in full by the original payment method.
4.3 The Buyer has a duty of care, under the regulations, to take care of the goods so they can be re-sold again by the Company. The Company will claim from the Buyer for the resulting loss in value for goods not kept in a reasonable condition. The Buyer must make the goods freely available at the original delivery address to the Seller or his agent within 21 days of cancellation for collection on a working day. The regulations do not apply to unsealed licensed software. The Company will refund less appropriate deductions (including courier delivery and collection charges) to the Buyer within 30 days of the written notice of cancellation by the original method of payment.
5. Warranty & Returns
5.1 The Company supplies goods with the benefit of a 12-month manufacturer warranty unless stated otherwise in the item description. Warranty support may involve dealing directly with the manufacturer where possible.
5.2 If the goods supplied develop a defect while under warranty or you have a complaint, you should notify us in writing or by email at customerservice@box.co.uk. All Returns must be authorised by members of our Service team (otherwise, they may be subject to rejection).
5.3 Any requests for Returns after 14 days will be subject to confirmation of terms and a restocking fee of up to 25% as long as the goods are in 'As New' condition, fully boxed and with all original contents and packaging within.
5.4 Software items will not be accepted for a return unless the goods are faulty or misdescribed, and the shrink-wrap or copy proper seal is intact. Items returned as faulty but found to have no fault (tested by the manufacturer) may incur a testing charge, the value of which will be based on the cost to the Company without profit.
5.5 Proof of dispatch must be retained until the Company acknowledges safe receipt.
5.6 All packaging material should be retained until the goods are thoroughly tested and functional. Returned goods should be within their original packaging.
5.7 Box Refurbished Customer Data Handling: All returned items received on-site will undergo data sanitisation. This process ensures that all customer data is securely wiped, and no data remains on the device before it proceeds to any further processing stage. 6. Faulty products
6.1 Dead On Arrival products (DOA - Up to 28 Days): If you feel your item is faulty on arrival, we advise you to contact our customer support at customerservice@box.co.uk between 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM from Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays) and 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturday to troubleshoot and fix any technical issues before organising a return as most of the technical problems are resolved this way. Goods returned with no fault found are subject to a restocking/handling charge; thus, by contacting technical support, we can avoid it by confirming the fault and obtaining the return to vendor authorisation or DOA code.
6.2 In case the item has not arrived as described, please email us at customerservice@box.co.uk with the details and we will organise a free return and a replacement for you.
6.3 Faulty products exceeding 28 Days: If your item develops a fault after the 28-day DOA period, please contact the manufacturer to get it fixed. Faulty products cannot be returned for a refund beyond 28 days of the DOA period unless authorised by manufacturers.
7. Consequential loss
The Company's liability will be limited to the value of the goods only and not for any consequential damages or losses, howsoever caused.
8. Data protection
We will make every effort to ensure the security of your order details, however we will not be responsible for any unauthorised access to your given information unless the Company is negligent.
9. Governing law
We will take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of your order secure but unless the company is negligent, we will not be liable for unauthorised access to information supplied by you.

11. Terms and Conditions for Black Friday Price Lock Guarantee 2025
Price Lock applies to selected products only, clearly marked with a Price Lock badge. Products not displaying the badge are excluded.
11.1. Locked prices are valid from 10:00 on 17/11/2025 until 06:00 on 01/12/2025. These items will not be reduced further during this promotional period.
- 11.2. Price Lock applies to the item price only. Delivery charges, installation services, warranties, software add-ons, and any additional service fees are excluded.

Trade-In Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to the Trade-In service provided by Box.co.uk, part of Five Tech Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By submitting a Trade-In request, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
1. Eligibility
1.1. To submit a trade-in request, you must be a UK resident aged 18 or over.
1.2. Your device must be owned by you and free of any financial or third-party claims. We may request proof of ownership if required.
1.3. Devices must match the details provided in your Trade-In form. Incorrect descriptions may result in an adjusted valuation or rejection of the trade-in.
1.4. At this time, an active order with Box.co.uk is required to be eligible for a trade-in. As a result, all customers currently qualify for a complimentary mailing kit.
2. Trade-In Quotes
2.1. All Trade-In quotes are valid for 21 days from the date they are issued.
2.2. If we do not receive your device within the 21-day validity period, your quote will expire and you will need to request a new valuation.
2.3. Quotes are based on the condition, model, and specification you provide. If the device does not match the description, we may revise the valuation or decline the trade-in.
3. Recycle For Me
3.1. If you have selected Recycle For Me during your Trade-In submission, we will responsibly recycle your device at no cost should it be deemed ineligible for Trade-In.
3.2. Recycling is irreversible. By opting in, you agree that the device will not be returned to you if assessed as non-eligible.
4. Mailing Kits & Shipping
4.1. Customers with an active Box.co.uk order may receive a free mailing kit, subject to eligibility outlined in their Trade-In confirmation email.
4.2. Mailing kits typically arrive within 3–5 business days. If a kit does not arrive within 6 days, it may have been lost in transit.
4.3. We do not resend mailing kits. You may still complete your Trade-In using your own secure packaging.
4.4. You are responsible for shipping your device to us using a tracked postal service.
4.5. Unless otherwise stated, Box.co.uk does not cover postage costs.
4.6. You must retain proof of postage. We are not liable for devices lost or damaged in transit.
5. Device Preparation
5.1. Before sending your device, you must:
• Remove all personal data and perform a factory reset.
• Sign out of personal accounts (e.g., iCloud, Google).
• Disable any security locks or firmware passwords.
5.2. We are not responsible for any data that remains on a device upon receipt.
6. Inspection & Valuation
6.1. All devices undergo professional inspection upon arrival.
6.2. If the device matches the description provided, you will receive the full quoted amount.
6.3. If the device does not match the description, we will email you with a revised offer. You will have 5 working days to accept or decline.
6.4. If you decline the revised offer, we will return your device free of charge.
6.5. If the device is found to be counterfeit, stolen, or activation-locked, we may be legally required to retain it or notify authorities.
7. Payment
7.1. Payment is made directly to your bank account using the details provided in your submission.
7.2. Once your device passes inspection, payment is typically issued within 5–7 working days.
7.3. We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect or incomplete payment information.
8. Data Security
8.1. We follow R2-certified data destruction protocols to ensure your personal information is permanently removed during processing.
8.2. Once data sanitisation is completed, it cannot be reversed.
9. Recycling & Environmental Responsibility
9.1. Devices unsuitable for resale will be responsibly recycled in accordance with R2 certification standards.
9.2. Materials may be reclaimed, repurposed, or processed to minimise environmental impact.
9.3. We do not return devices once they have been designated for recycling.
10. Faulty or Damaged Devices
10.1. Devices that are faulty, damaged, or non-functional may still carry value.
10.2. If the device is beyond economic repair, we may provide a recycling-only option or reduced valuation.
11. Business & Bulk Trade-Ins
11.1. Bulk trade-ins for business and education customers are available by request.
11.2. Tailored valuations, collection options, and sustainability reporting may be provided.
11.3. Business trade-in quotes operate under separate commercial terms.
12. Limitation of Liability
12.1. We are not responsible for:
• Devices lost or damaged before they are received by us.
• Loss of accessories or packaging not required for the trade-in.
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of this service.
12.2. Our total liability is limited to the value of the confirmed trade-in offer.
13. Changes to These Terms
13.1. We may update these Terms from time to time.
13.2. The version of the Terms in effect when your Trade-In request was submitted will apply to that transaction.
